I began to work with crystals a little over a year ago and reticently so. I was aware of their incredible power and understood that it was perhaps not the best thing for me to delve into until I found more stability in my life. I recall the one crystal I was working with quite a lot during this time, it's an amethyst geode pendant that I wore around my neck. I chose this crystal intuitively and found myself wearing it during very energetically charged situations. Being an empath I am often confronted with copious amounts of energy that people around me need to shed. I recognize that listening and supporting them is actually an integral aspect of my soul contract and feel honored to participate in such an empowering and vulnerable expression of humanness. It's cool! :) However there are times, particularly prior to understanding the magnitude of my work here on earth, that I found myself feeling drained or literally having absorbed their debris. Working with Amethyst was transformational. It literally protected me. I learned later on that in many circles Amethyst is known a powerful protective stone and that it guards against psychic attacks (we will address this issue in another post as I am certain we have all experienced both ends of this- it is often being done subconsciously) and transmutes negative energies into love. Sweet right? I think so.
Anyhow after a particularly heady day of emotions I met with a sweet couple at a bar to catch up. I was still wearing my necklace though the weight of it was literally causing my shoulders and neck to tense up. *Clean and Charge your stones! Like a moth to the flame my girlfriend's boyfriend reached out and touched the amethyst literally jerking his hand away like he had just been burned. His eyes opened very widely and he remarked on how hot the stone was. This was a great reminder for me to take it off, but also a good example of how THESE THINGS WORK.
As I mentioned in the first posting I do some work with Reiki. I have now been attuned to first and second degree Reiki and will be attuned to the Master levels in a couple of weeks. Reiki is an incredible gift but also a huge responsibility. There isn't any particular way to direct this intelligence as it moves through you unbound and delivers itself to exactly where it knows it needs to go. Powerful stuff that will affect your understanding of things like time and space simply by being present in your body. After a self treatment a few weeks ago I found myself in an interesting place. At night, which is not always my "sleep" time for me but a time that I use for bilocation**, I traveled to a field where upon landing there I was overwhelmed by the familiar smell of grass and earth. I took a moment to close my eyes and become intoxicated by the richness of the scents and the grounding effect they provided. Upon opening my eyes I found that I was standing beneath a giant geode in a space that was full of similar structures. They were all different stones and as such carried their unique properties. Being here was a profound gift to me, both that I was welcomed here by the earth but also that I was willing to accept the opportunity. It was uncanny how at home I felt in this place, as I walked through the tunnels and formations I felt a pure sense of healing and attunenment pulsating through my being from and to the vibrations of the crystals. I also sensed that my own abilities where being amplified by these intelligent stones. An intuition that has been validated several times of late including this morning, the reason why I am writing this post.
In speaking with friends lately I have mentioned the memory of this place and told them of my certainty of its existence. Perhaps not on this dimension I say, perhaps not on this planet, perhaps not even in this timeline, but it is real. I have also mentioned that I would like so badly to know more about this memory, to meet or find or manifest others with similar memories. Which brings to question the power of crystals to harness synchronicity and manifestation in your life. Of course, we already do possess this ability without having to look to outside sources but the stones will actually magnify our intentions. *Cleaning your stones can happen in a saltwater bath, sea salt + purified water, in a smudge session and in burying them under earth. (I am sure there are other ways not mentioned here.)
*Charging your stones can be charged by leaving them in a windowsill where they will absorb sunlight ( be aware that certain stones will fade in color if left in light too long, and color has potent vibrations to add), taking them to the ocean and wetting them, taking them to nature and allowing them to sit for a while.
